Kathleen “Kay” (Cole) McDonald
August 19, 1939 - November 19, 2017
Kay McDonald, 78, of East Syracuse passed away on Sunday surrounded by her family.
Kay was a graduate of Eastwood High and CCBI. She retired after 20 years of service as a school secretary with the East Syracuse Minoa District and previously was employed with the trust dept. at Lincoln Bank. Kay was active with the ESM marching band and past president of the band booster club.
Her parents, Moses and Anna and her siblings, Jack Cole and Margaret McDonald had predeceased her.
Survivors include her loving husband, of 56 years, George; her children, Thomas (Suzanne), Kelly (Joe) Montana and Julie Gottlieb; her grandchildren, Thomas, Jarrett, Jack, Hannah, Katelin, John and Kayleigh and her nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, Nov. 24th, from 4 to 7 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will be Saturday at 10 am at the funeral home, followed by burial in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to Carol M.
